In addition to personal coaching sessions, Dr. Logan offers a wide range of resources and tools to support one’s journey toward healing and resilience. The resources include access to cutting-edge research on trauma and resilience, mindfulness and meditation practices, and self-regulation and self-care strategies that will help individuals prioritize their well-being. Recovery and resiliency are journeys, and Dr. Logan is committed to supporting his clients every step of the way.
The effects of trauma, toxic stress, or a history of early childhood adversity can be overwhelming. They can have a long-lasting impact on an individual's physical, mental, emotional, social, occupational, and spiritual well-being. Dr. Logan’s life coaching online service is designed to provide individuals with the necessary support, resources, and guidance to work through past painful experiences and exposures and to build toward resiliency.
Dr. Logan, from his research and study, developed the REACH model, a unique, science-based approach that empowers individuals to resolve their trauma, increase their capacities and competencies, and ready themselves for the challenges they will yet face. It is a bottom-up and top-down process that helps a person to move from self-regulation and self-care to cortical engagement, from self-awareness and self-acceptance to building meaningful connections and ultimately gaining the ability to live harmoniously with the world around them.
Dr. Logan brings an elevated, informed compassion to his work and clients. He understands that each individual's journey toward healing and resilience is unique. He works with his clients to identify their unique strengths, abilities, and skills, seeking to increase and further develop them, thus empowering clients to address their needs and reach their goals. Dr. Logan will guide clients, helping them navigate their journey's ups and downs and provide them with the tools and resources they need to progress toward their goals.
This trauma and resiliency life coaching service is not therapy or an intervention service. A referral will be gladly offered for those looking for a therapist or a licensed counselor. Dr. Logan’s coaching service for individuals takes a salutogenic approach, which means that he begins by focusing on the strengths and assets that a person possesses and has already been using to survive or deal with trauma, toxic stress, or adversity. This approach does not ignore a person’s problems or impacting issues. Still, it recognizes that until a person knows how to regulate their nervous system, talking about the negative experiences and exposures runs a significant risk of re-traumatizing the individual and prolonging their opportunity for a resilient life. The salutogenic approach to coaching empowers people to recognize their competencies and capacities to grow, improve, and heal themselves. Research shows that by emphasizing existing strengths, a person is better equipped to overcome challenges and develop new life skills for dealing with adversity. Dr. Logan’s goal is to lead clients to coherence — the ability to access essential resources while facing adversity confidently.
